Turf / Boulevard is a full remake/remaster of the iconic urban multiplayer map from Halo 2, recreated in Halo Infinite with updated visuals, refined traversal, and gameplay tuning designed around Halo Infinite’s movement systems and combat sandbox.

The project focused on preserving the original map’s dense urban combat spaces, interconnected pathways, and layered vertical gameplay while enhancing environmental storytelling, atmosphere, and gameplay readability for a modern competitive experience inspired by Halo 2’s legacy gameplay.

My Contributions:
-Led a small development team throughout production
-Designed and created the gameplay greybox in Blender
-Utilized a custom “Blender to Forge” pipeline to import the blockout into Halo Infinite Forge
-Tuned scale and traversal around Halo Infinite’s movement mechanics and sandbox gameplay
-Directed the map’s visual art style and environmental presentation
-Created the majority of the environment art and detailing
-Implemented gameplay layout, combat flow, and weapon placements
-Completed lighting, atmosphere, and final visual polish
-Implemented level audio and ambient soundscape design
-Oversaw gameplay testing, iteration, and final production direction

-Adapted traversal and combat spaces for Halo Infinite’s movement systems while maintaining Halo 2 inspired gameplay settings
-Built using a custom external production pipeline for rapid iteration and development efficiency
